And the climate deniers and moon landing skeptics are dug in on their positions too. It's about beliefs - how does one hope to overcome clung-to beliefs with only facts?

You are absolutely correct, I have seen it. Paranoia and distrust is on the rise in the U.S. Hatefulness is on the rise.

It seems to me that it is fueled by the traditional media - fear-mongering in search of ratings, or in support of an ideology.

I guess all we can do is try to spread as much factual information as possible

This is a fantastic artist.
What is it about her simple art that 'gets' to us? Is it because it's so naive? Or because her transitions are so unexpected?
What is it about representative art that does what words cannot? You 'd think words could touch people, but they rarely do. Probably because we rarely mean what we say.
